If the copied page has spots, like toner is being splattered on the page, the problem is usually has to do with the imaging unit. over time and usage, excess toner may be accumulate by the drum and it is spilling onto the copied page. call for service you may need a good cleaning
TIP>> If you see the same spot on all the copies but not in the same place all the time, this is a result from a scratch on the drum.
TIP>> If you see the same spot on the same place all the time. it's on the glass.
The drum is not cheap. and can run you in to some money. If you have a contract that includes the drum, then you have nothing to worry about unless it looks like misuse and abuse. Then again, I don't do contracts!
I hope you have a service. If you don't have a service contract, speak to your service center about getting one.

If you are printing a tilarevely large quantity of a tilarevely small number of pages, you might want to take a look at the RISO Printer-Duplicator. It can be networked, automatically cuts an internal master, and prints at a high speed (150/min). It uses liquid ink cartridges. The cost per page, assuming you make a few hundred or more copies of each master, is much lower than any toner-based printer. You will want to consider print quality and resolution (for any system). Best to see a variety of samples, and even get your rep to make prints of YOUR files for comparison.
