I am not going to say I know copy machines like the back of my hands. That is not the case. Besides I don’t want to teach you how to be a copy machine repair technician.
What I have discovered however is that most of the time I walk into an office to service a copy machine, it is usually for something simple, something that could save you the hours of down time if only you only knew what to do before hand.
Well, when I was a copier technician, I used to love it....
It was a great thing because it keept me employed, simple service calls here and there keeps the day flowing...
But I am sure you hated it because, for you the customer, it is frustrating to want to make a freak copy of a report and suddenly the danm copy machine doesn't work.
It is even worse for the copy machine repair company I represent because, by the time I get to your office, you are probably thinking "this is the worse piece of office equipment you have ever purchased."
That "keep me employed thing", that was a joke!
Oh hell... it wasn't
What if I could show you a few pointers and get you going the next time your copy machine "Breaks down"?
