What do I do when I come to your office? Most of the time it’s to clean your copy machine. The copy machine will not run well when it is dirty. When rollers get dirty, the copy machine jams.  When sensors get dirty, the copy machine will jam. If you keep the copy machine dirty, if you leave it in the dirtiest part of your office, you will have a ton of paper jams. This is not a joke, this serious. I notice that some offices will stuff the copy machine in the dirtiest corner of the office... right next to the trash can... with boxes all around it... in the part of the office that never gets cleaned up... Bad move... This machine will jam so darn much you will hate yourself... It's not the machine... IT IS DUST... Copy machines and dust do not get along!!! Other times, when we come to your office to service your copy machine, it is to remove a paper jam that you cannot find. Or the copier is displaying a  paper jam and there is no paper jam. Or the copy machine is is not feeding... Can you guess why this happening to the poor copy machine? YES.... IT IS DUST... Copy machines and dust do not get along!!! You want me to say it again? I am not here to call you a bad customer. You are not. you are a great customer... But... What I would like to do is show you a couple of things you can do to minimize down time on your office equipment, therefore increasing your productivity in you workplace. You may say that is why you pay for a copy machine service contract.  If it is late Friday afternoon and you have reports that needs to get out there, I think I seriously deserve your attention.  Don't you think? Don’t worry, I am not looking for a rocket scientist, anybody can do this. I know you are probably at work, so I’ll keep it very simple so that you don’t have to read too much.
