The Copy Machine Is Displaying A Jam And There Is No Paper Jam

There are a few little things that can get you running in a matter of minutes: 1- if the copier does not pick up your originals, it may display a jam. Take your originals out, and check them. Are they still stapled together? See "Common problems with the document feeder." 2- another thing that may be going on is that the machine made three attempts to pick up paper on the tray and was unsuccessful. Open the tray that the copier is trying to access and make sure the paper is put in correctly.  3- you may want to call for service if that is the problem. It is also possible that you have a bad sensor. In which the sensors are usually fairly inexpensive.
